"A sculptural landmark shaping the urban skyline of City West"
Zürich, ZH
Switzerland
Summer 2014
The Zölly-Hochhaus is a striking residential tower in Zurich's City West, developed by Marazzi Generalunternehmung and designed by Meili, Peter Architekten between 2009 and 2014. Originating from a 2003 study, its polygonal geometry with soft, angled edges creates a distinctive silhouette enriched with white marble aggregate. Nestled between the Prime and Mobimo Towers, The sandblasted concrete façade enriched with white marble aggregate, lends a refined, light-reflective character. Inside, double-height 3½- and 4½-room corner apartments with open loggias offer floor-to-ceiling windows. The design features an architectural rhythm of horizontal bands and vertical pilasters that balances harmony and movement.

Zoelly tower completes the urban ensemble surrounding the Maaghof and Pfingstweidpark. Its position along the "Gleisbogen" offers direct pedestrian and cycling connections while maintaining close proximity to Zurich Hardbrücke station and central urban amenities. The tower's orientation toward the southeast provides residents with panoramic views and generous natural light, bridging the verticality of the high-rises with the open landscape of the adjacent park.
